About me

about me

Hi, I am Edina

Hello, I’m Edina Pásti, a digital marketing expert with a focus on AI implementation and a mother of three children. My journey through the tech world has been both exciting and overwhelming—constantly balancing the latest digital innovations with the need for genuine offline presence.

After more than a decade in the corporate world, followed by building my own business specializing in digital marketing and AI solutions, I’ve experienced firsthand how our attention has become increasingly fragmented. I’ve watched as “digital overwhelm” went from a minor inconvenience to a significant challenge affecting both professional performance and personal wellbeing.

The Story Behind Offline Cookies

The name “Offline Cookies” combines two of my passions: digital marketing (where browser cookies track online behavior) and baking (one of my favorite ways to disconnect). I’ve discovered that standing up from my computer to bake something quick completely resets my mind and brings me back to the present moment. There’s something magical about creating something tangible with your hands when you spend most of your day in the digital realm.

Beyond baking, hiking is my other essential offline activity. I regularly explore Western Hungary and the Eastern Alps, and love traveling throughout Europe—now with kids in tow. These experiences in nature provide perspective that’s impossible to gain from behind a screen.

I created this blog because I believe we don’t need to choose between embracing technology and maintaining our humanity. This isn’t about digital detox or rejecting technology. On the contrary, I love technology and spend my days helping businesses implement AI and digital solutions. Rather, this is about creating intentional systems that allow us to leverage digital tools while rebuilding our focus, presence, and cognitive capacity.

What You’ll Find Here

My writing comes from personal experimentation and systems thinking, not philosophical ideals or generic advice. Everything I share has been tested in my own life as a busy professional and parent navigating the same digital challenges you face.

I hope this space helps you develop your own relationship with technology—one that enhances your life rather than fragmenting it.
